"Brony"

Bronwyn Ann Meredith  5/6/69 - 3/4/08

An inspiration to everyone she met, a loving and caring soul, a beautiful and glorious spirit, loved to have fun, passionate about young children and developing their love of music, dance and movement in a fun and enjoyable way.

Thursday 3rd April 2008, will be marked with a sad loss for the Rhythm Factory and everyone who knew Brony.

Founder and owner of Rhythm Factory, Bronwyn Meredith (Brony) passed away aged 38 after a long private battle with cancer.

Rhythm Factory started over 9 years ago in New Zealand where Brony operated a successful school in Queenstown. Then moving to Australia in 2002 and bringing her energy and enthusiasm with her she built the Rhythm Factory here to where it is today. It’s awesome to see where it has come from and to where it will go. There is no limit to Brony’s vision and inspiration which we are dedicated to maintaining her spirit and vision in bringing upbeat, fun classes to your children for the future through our equally inspired teachers.

Brony has touched so many peoples lives especially children who she had a passion to share dance and music with, they were her inspiration which helped her navigate through the cancer journey with dignity, selflessness and dedication to others

She left behind her loving husband Harald, mum and dad, 2 sisters and 1 brother and her 11 nieces and nephews. She will be truly missed.

Harald would love to thank all those that attended the celebration of Brony’s life and achievements at the special garden setting on

Friday 11th April 2008 at 3.30pm on the grounds of “Yarralla Estate” Concord.

This was a wonderful celebration of her life with emphasis on her passion for fun and being upbeat, children and families, pompoms and ribbons. All were welcome as the location has lovely trees, horses, open spaces and we also had bouncy castle for the children just the way Brony would have liked it.

This was a special place for her over the last couple of years as we spent time walking through the gardens and feeding the horses, looking out over the water, enjoying the moments that we were experiencing.

THANK YOU ALL THOSE THAT HAVE ATTENDED AND SENT EMAILS YOUR MESSAGES ARE APPRECIATED.

New Zealand

Monday 14th April at 2pm  - A service was held in Brony's home town at the Wilson Street Baptist Church Timaru New Zealand on  - all were welcome to attend. The weather was fine.

Thursday 17th April 3pm - A Celebration was held in Queenstown New Zealand -  at Queenstown Gardens - Big tree in Rose Gardens. All were welcome to come and enjoy the celebration of someone so special to all of us. It was a fitting tribute to someone that enjoyed life here for many years and had some of her closest friends around her almost like a family. The attendance of former students, children with their parents and so many close friends made for a truely appropriate celebration of the life of our Brony. Many friends shared some highlights from their memories and the gathering was able to acknowledge the diverse and talented woman that touched so many people during her life in the wonderland that is Queenstown.

SPECIAL THANKS - I would like to thank  Andy Mills and Mick Holtzman from the bottom of my heart for all their love and support over this difficult time, they have proven to be more than friends more like brothers, firstly by flying to Sydney to assist with arrangements there and then assisting with Queenstown arrangements. Not to mention all the support in between. THANK YOU Harald
