It
was the experience of their lives and for Brony it shaped many aspects
of her views and gave her an insight into so many aspects of life. She
drew on her experiences in Africa throughout her life and was always
filled with happy memories of a part of her experience that always lived
in her. Along with the amazing adventures they experienced along the way. Brony was impacted by the beauty and genuine nature of the African Children, their smiles and their tears, their hunger and their hopes. It has always been Brony’s wish to return to Africa to help improve the lives of the children who live there and she always spoke of adopting a little African orphan child. For many years she has sponsored children in Africa and maintained contact with them by mail.
Brony’s close friend Kate McLeay, who is based in Uganda, has been actively involved with the BUSOCO Association which was established in 2005 for the purpose of constructing a community school to assist orphan children. Giving of our time, money and resources to a worthy cause is not always possible and often we look away when others are in need. Brony always always looked at how she could help and with the little she had she would always give to others in need before looking after herself. Her hope was to be in a position to help others less fortunate than her and to offer joy and bring smiles to the children that were in need of love and attention. Our hope is to keep Brony's spirit alive by offering direct assistance to the orphan children in Uganda via the Busoco Association project. Please feel free to contact us if you are in a position to assist with funds, resources or time. My intention is to create fundraising opportunities in the coming months to get the funds needed to help the children. Thank you Harald Ulriksen (Brony's Husband)
